Asia 2006 on July 24th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by the leading
industry publication, CardsNow!Asia. It
was established to recognize organisations that have demonstrated outstanding
industry excellence and that have made significant contributions to the smart
card industry within
Open to organisations in the card industry, there were 9 award
categories offered within 3 main sectors; Government, Telecommunications, and
